AAPT win the Science Council Elevating the Science Workforce Award (Team)
The Science Council’s annual Celebration of Science took place on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, bringing together professionals from across the scientific landscape to recognise the individuals and organisations who are driving progress, championing professionalism, and elevating the science workforce.
Each year, the event provides an invaluable opportunity to celebrate excellence, share ideas, and acknowledge the remarkable contributions that strengthen the scientific community. This year, the Science Council unveiled the newly updated Recognition Awards, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and to recognising the full breadth of talent across the science sector.
We are delighted to report that the AAPT won the Elevating the Science Workforce Award! This was for the group project work carried out by Samantha Bell RSciTech MAAPT, Robert Cast RSciTech MAAPT, Gemma Norburn RSciTech MAAPT and Christian Burt in aligning the RSPH Level 3 in Healthcare Science (APT) to the RSciTech standards.
