Chartered Scientist Study Event January 2026

The AAPT will host a Chartered Scientist Study Event on Zoom on the 30th January 2026

The AAPT holds a Full Licence with the Science Council to award professional registrations at RSciTech, RSci, and CSci levels.

Gaining Science Council registration allows eligible AAPT members to demonstrate their commitment to professional standards, strengthen recognition of the APT profession, and use post-nominal designations – RSciTech, RSci, or CSci.

Are you working at an advanced level, demonstrating knowledge equivalent to Master’s standard, and able to meet the Chartered Scientist (CSci) criteria? APTs with significant experience – particularly those managing across sites – are encouraged to apply for the CSci award.

For the first time, AAPT will host an online Zoom event featuring speakers who have achieved and continue to maintain their CSci status. They will share practical advice, hints, and tips to help APTs understand and meet the Chartered Scientist standards.

Date: 30th January 2026 at 1pm to 2pm
