AAPT members section

Access and security
The usage of the members' section is available to AAPT members. Failure to pay necessary fees will result in the withdrawal of this service.

The use of the AAPT members section is reserved for use by AAPT members only.

The AAPT reserves the right to indefinitely suspend access to the members area for any individual who enables non-members or other members to access the members section, either by making available their login and security details or by any other means.

AAPT members are requested to keep login and security details in a secure place to help ensure that the members section is not accessed by non-members or members logging in with another member's details.

AAPT members are requested to log out once they have finished accessing the members area, especially when using a computer shared with other colleagues or in a public environment.

Web discussion forums
The AAPT does not accept responsibility for opinions expressed by contributors to the web discussion forums.

Members are requested to use the discussion forums in a professional and respectful manner. Members are prohibited from using forum user names, posting or transmitting to or from this site any unlawful, threatening, libellous, racist, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or any other material that would violate any law.

The AAPT reserves the right to remove any comments from the forum according to the discretion of the website moderators.

The AAPT reserves the right to indefinitely suspend access to the members' area for any individual who continues to post offensive material or opinions after receiving two written warnings.

Members should note that discussions on the forum are informal and not the correct mechanism of communication to the AAPT Council or staff. For information on contacting the AAPT Council or Secretary please visit the contact page.

Jurisdiction
