McNeil MBE awarded AAPT Honorary Fellowship

Robert McNeil has been awarded, and accepted, Honorary Fellowship of the AAPT.

Robert McNeil has been awarded, and accepted, Honorary Fellowship of the AAPT.

Rob becomes the first to be granted this award and is said to be “deeply honoured that Council have granted me this award…I would like to offer the IBMS, AAPT Council, our President and AAPT members my very best wishes for the future”.

Although unable to attend the AGM, Rob has requested that Alison Anderson could accept the certificate on his behalf.

The award has been bestowed to Rob to recognise the exemplary conduct he had shown as a Chair and ordinary Council member and for the huge contribution he has made to the profession of anatomical pathology technology. Rob will retire in August and the AAPT wishes him the very best in future pursuits.
