Kerry Bowles achieves the RSciTech award
The AAPT are proud to be a Licensed Body with the Science Council and to grow the register
A recent registrant at Registered Science Technician award level was Kerry Bowles.
Congrats to Kerry and for her feedback on the process below.
How did AAPT support you during the application process?
I attended the RSciTech training day which was extremely helpful to address any questions I had about the application process, show us some examples of successful applications as well as to start the application in real time in the classroom. The AAPT, particularly Christian Burt, was on hand for any questions that I had during the whole process which made it feel less daunting.
What advice would you give to others considering the shortened route?
I would encourage anyone thinking of applying to attend the training day provided, I got a lot from this session and I was able to meet other APT’s which was nice to share our experiences together.
