AAPT Consent Training November 2022
The AAPT will be hosting further consent training in November 2022 in liaison with the HTA
AAPT Post Mortem Consent Training Zoom course November 2022 - booking is now live
To be held over three sessions starting at 14.30 as follows:
- 9 November 2022: Presentation from the Human Tissue Authority (HTA)
- 16th November 2022: Presentation from Martin Goddard FAAPT (AAPT Council)
- 23rd November 2022: Scenarios and Q&A
It is likely that the first two sessions will be approximately an hour and the last session of Scenarios will be approximately 90 minutes. After the registration form is received back to the AAPT Secretary. you will be sent the Zoom registration link for each session. This course is limited to 30 participants and CPD approved (6 credits)
Delegates will have:
- knowledge of the HTA Codes for Consent
- knowledge of the post mortem consent process
- practical experience of dealing with consent issues
- the ability to facilitate the consent process with N.O.K and clinician
- the ability to inform their Trust of consent procedures and best practice
- the ability to step up a consent process
