Welcome to the new aaptuk.org

The AAPT has launched the new and improved www.aaptuk.org.

It is hoped the revised site will become the first point of reference for anatomical pathology technologists and continue to enhance their professional standing with fellow healthcare science colleagues.

Ease of navigation was the principle reason for updating www.aaptuk.org and it is hoped that articles, best practice guidance and other useful documents will be easy to locate. A search facility, emailing of web pages to friends & help functions have also been introduced. The technology used to develop the website has also been overhauled and will allow for future features and services to be integrated in the near future.

New features include a new updates page and specific domain for Company Members of the AAPT including links to commercial sector websites. For members the Learning Zone has been modified to again make navigation straightforward. Reports from Council meetings have their own section as does the rapidly growing regional networks.

Information for AAPT members

1) Any member who was registered for the members area of the old website needs to re-register for the new website - please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this.

2) Read, Test and Reflect (RTR) questions for Continuing Professional Development is currently unavailable until later in the year due to the current ongoing development of online projects. We apologise for this but hope to introduce an improved and brand new service for members as soon as possible.

We would welcome any comments or suggestions as there will be a second phase of developing the website.  As you find your way around the site, please let us know of any section that needs tweaking and broken links etc.
