The AAPT are planning a first Mortuary Managers half day event in Manchester on Friday 22nd November. This was a key commitment included in the Engaging with the APT workforce document http://www.aaptuk.org/go/media:news,181
It is vital that we seek the opinion of senior APT staff as to what should be included as discussion items. Rather than a lecture format, the day would be workshop based in order for an open forum debate and the swapping of best practice. Non-managerial staff may also complete this survey, although in the first instance the event itself would only be open to Mortuary Manager and Senior Anatomical Pathology Technologist staff with direct responsibility for managing a Mortuary Department.
