Human Tissue Authority (HTA) Policy on the sale of bodies, body parts and tissue Under section 32 of the Human Tissue Act 2004, it is an offence to engage in commercial dealings in bodily material, such as organs or tissue, for the purposes of transplantation. A person guilty of an offence under section 32 is liable to imprisonment for up to a year and/or a fine.
MSC Assistant Level Worker Survey An integral component of the UK Modernising Scientific Careers (MSC) Programme, led by the Department of Health, will be the provision of suitable learning and development programmes for the UK workforce in technical and support roles at career pathway Levels 1 to 4 and encompassing career pathway 5 as both a career role and, for some, a progression route into Scientist training.
