Elevating the Science Workforce Award (organisation)
AAPT task & finish group members nominated for a Science Council award at the Celebration of Science event

Samantha Bell RSciTech MAAPT, Gemma Norburn RSciTech MAAPT and Robert Cast RSciTech MAAPT and Christian Burt (AAPT Secretary) have been nominated by the Science Council in the Elevating the Science Workforce Award (organisation) category at the Celebration of Science event to be held on the 2nd of December 2025.
This award is given to an exemplar organisation (AAPT) making a contribution to elevating the science workforce, from which others can learn. This was for the task & finish group work in relation to the shortened route to Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) by mapping the RSciTech standards to the RSPH Level 3 in Healthcare Science (Anatomical Pathology Technology).
