Post Mortem Reconstruction Course

The course provides a hands-on based approach to cranial/facial reconstruction, soft tissue injury to the face and airbrush cosmetics. A series of structured exercises has been devised to teach those attending how to complete the reconstruction of a badly traumatised head. Course dates: Monday 7th June 2027 – Friday 11th June 2027

Turning a closed coffin into an open coffin for viewing and giving the family a final opportunity to say goodbye. The course is designed to educate professionals in specialist techniques of Facial Restoration; the process of resuming a person’s facial features and presentation following an accident or other tragic and traumatic circumstance.

Adding reconstructive surgery techniques to your personal skill provides a much-needed and invaluable service to families who entrust their loved ones into our care, whilst showing them the commitment and dedication you have to being a professional embalmer.
