Mortuary Research Project

If mortuary managers and staff have time in their busy schedules they may be willing to help Sue Delve at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Foundation Trust as part of her MSC Dissertation.

The aim of the project is to:

Evaluate the working practices in a NHS mortuary
Explore the possible risk factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders whilst working in a mortuary
Compare the working practices across a number of NHS mortuaries
Contribute to the production of safe systems to improve the general working lives of those working in mortuaries.
